Dr. Randi Berg has joined the staff at the Gundersen Lutheran--Harmony Clinic as a family medicine physician.
Having lived in Decorah for the first 11 years of her life, returning to attend Luther College, and spending the past 10 years as a physician in Decorah, Dr. Berg considers herself a "hometown girl." "I've found that I enjoy working in a small practice and when an opportunity became available at Gundersen Lutheran in Harmony, I knew it was a good fit for me," comments Dr. Berg.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Berg sees patients of all ages for everything from ear aches and sore throats to wellness exams and prenatal care. She joins long-time Harmony physician assistant Diana Nelson in caring for the Harmony community.
Dr. Berg and her husband, Matthew, have three children – Aidan, Anna-Elisabeth and Kaj. The entire family is heavily involved in music and enjoys performing together in the annual Burning Bright Benefit Christmas Concert and the spring concert which marks Earth Day. They are also involved with New Minowa Players Community Theatre Group. When not caring for patients or performing, Dr. Berg also has a special interest in portrait and photojournalistic photography.
Dr. Berg can be reached at the Gundersen Lutheran--Harmony Clinic at (507) 886-8888.
