Decorah Water Department agrees to help water downtown trees

The watering of trees in downtown Decorah will be done—at least initially this spring—by the Decorah Water Department.  There are around three dozen trees in downtown locations.  Some of the trees have suffered in the past from lack of watering.  The Water Department has agreed to help out this summer, but Decorah City council member Steve Matter is urging property owners to help out, too, saying "it's a community project."
