The Decorah High School Community Club has won an award.  The United Way of Winneshiek County has presented the Doyle and Margery Gorden Award to the Community Club.

The award was presented to the organization for their efforts to collect, sort, and work at the Annual United Way Books Sale.  The students encouraged their fellow students, the school staff and their families to donate used books to United Way for the sale.  They then took the time to come and help sort through the books and also worked at the sale.

The United Way says because of the help of the students in the Community Club, this year's book sales one of their best ever.
