Single car accident causes $2,800 in damages

Decorah Police were called to a single car accident on Highway 9 Thursday morning.

Police say 20-year-old Kelsey Jacobs of Waukon lost control of her car while westbound on Highway 9. The passenger side tires of her car dropped off the roadway onto the shoulder. She corrected the vehicle, but it swung back again and flipped over onto its top.

Jacobs was not injured. The accident caused $2,800 in damages.
