"Snoopy" performances are this weekend

The New Minowa Players production of "Snoopy!!!" will continue this weekend and next, with performances at 7:00 p.m. January 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th and at 2:00 p.m. January 23rd and 29th.

Tickets may be purchased at Oneota Community Food Co-op. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 12 and under. Performances will be held in the New Minowa Players Theatre, 906 South Mill Street, Decorah. All seats are General Admission and seating is limited; advance purchase is recommended. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door the day of performance.

Directed by Sheryl Scheffert, "Snoopy!!!" brings to life "Peanuts" characters Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Peppermint Patty and Woodstock in a family-friendly production that features the humor of Charles Schultz set to the music of Larry Grossman.

Cast members include Sarah Brandt (Lucy), Emily Kurash (Woodstock), Aaron Kvale (Charlie Brown), Kaleb Michel (Linus), Olga Rinco (Peppermint Patty), Rick Scheffert (Snoopy), and Amanda Zweibohmer (Sally).

"Snoopy!!!" is sponsored by Phyllis Gray, Bette Greedy, Robert & Marilynn Larson, Robyn Ovans, Olga Rinco, and Rick & Sheryl Scheffert in memory of David Greedy, who played the title role in the 1983 NMP production. It is produced by arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc.
