Effigy Mounds developing exotic plant plan

The National Park Service has announced that it will be developing a plan to guide the eradication, control, or containment of exotic invasive plants within Effigy Mounds National Monument in Mc Gregor.

"If you care about the spread of exotic invasive plants in this area, we would love to hear from you," said Effigy Mounds National Monument superintendent Jim Nepstad.  Contact the park's natural resource manager, Rodney Rovang, at (563) 873-3491.
