North Winneshiek School Board discusses sharing agreement with Decorah

The North Winneshiek School Board on Monday discussed, but did not take any action, on the renewal of the grade sharing agreement with Decorah.  The current agreement allows 9th through 12th graders in North Winneshiek to attend high school in Decorah.  The agreement will expire on June 30th, 2012.

Also Monday, the North Winn School Board held a public hearing on a waiver for the start date of classes for the 2011-2012 school year.  The waiver allows the school district to begin classes before August 27th, if it chooses to.  The waiver was approved.
