At their Monday night meeting the Decorah Community School Board reviewed and approved the extensive audit report presented by representatives of Hacker and Nelson.  The auditors noted the fiscal responsibility and stability of the district, and Superintendent Mike Haluska referenced the report as a "very clean audit."

In other Monday night business the board appointed Kurt DeVore, Director of Instructional Technology, as the district's representative on the Metro-Net, a collaborative and redundant fiber optics network that provides linkages for Luther College, Winneshiek Medical Center, Winneshiek County, and the City of Decorah.
