"Womens Weekend Out" is now "The Great Spring Getaway"

"The Great Spring Getaway" will be held April 1st and 2nd in Decorah.  The event is a replacement for "Women's Weekend Out," an event that stressed shopping and dining.

That event was sponsored by the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce, but this event will be sponsored by the Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau and will have a broader focus.  Activities will include the performance of "Church Basement Ladies" at the Luther Center for Faith and Life.
