In case you've heard the rumor recently that rapper, singer and record producer Kanye West has bought a farm near Spillville--don't believe it.

The news is actually a joke being posted by The Onion, a satirical magazine headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin.  There's no word on why The Onion picked Spillville for its practical joke, but it did.
