City of Decorah residents have been asked to shovel around fire hydrants and on the corner intersections of sidewalks.
But it's not just city residents who need to make sure emergency crews can have access, despite the snow. Winneshiek County residents are being asked to be sure snow isn't blocking their 9-1-1 signs. Despite the fact that computer-aided dispatching makes sending out emergency crews more accurate now, those crews still need to see your 9-1-1 number--so make sure it isn't stuck in a snowdrift!
