Decorah, like many other communities, has a lot of phone books.

But which phone book do decorahnews.com readers use most?  165 readers answered that question.  The most popular answer--given by 76 readers, or 46 percent--was "DEX."

The Northeast Iowa Regional phone directory was named by 37 percent of those answering the poll, followed by Yellow Book USA with 21 percent, Home Pages with 18 percent and Decorah City Directory with 13 percent.  Other phone directories were named by 10 percent of the readers (Multiple answers were allowed).

But the popularity of phone books seems to be declining.  15 percent of those responding checked "What's a 'phone book'?"
