One person injured in crash near Frankville

A Castalia woman was injured Friday afternoon when she lost control of her car on County W4B near Highway 9.

The Iowa State Patrol says 16-year-old Carli Stee of Castalia was northbound on the road when she lost control of her car and it went broadside across the center line, where it was hit by a vehcile driven by 26-year-old Edwin Teleguardio of Postville.

The Decorah Fire Department was called out to extricate Stee from her car.  Winneshiek Medical Center paramedics then treated Stee and took her to Winneshiek Medical Center.
