After school programs at the library rescheduled from snowstorm

Posted: Wed, Dec 15, 2010 10:32 AM

The Christmas Cards and Small Gifts program originally planned for after school at the Decorah Public Library on Monday was postponed because of the weather and school closing.  Those over the age of 8, including adults, can now visit the library three different times to make lotus books, light bulb ornaments and more:

--Wednesday and Thursday, December 15th and 16th, from 3:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. both days, upstairs in the youth area of the library.

--Monday, December 20th, from 3:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. during the usual YourSpace time in the downstairs public meeting room

--Tuesday, December 21st, from 3:15 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., during Wii gaming in the downstairs public meeting room (crafting tables will be set up as well).

Holiday snacks will be available during the Monday and Tuesday sessions.

The Solstice Mandala program planned for Monday, December 20 will be rescheduled for January, however a simpler mandala card can be made on Monday the 20th during the crafting session.
