School District approves bid for new bus; adds new Shareholder

The Decorah Community School District has approved a bid of nearly $78,000 for a new 65 passenger school bus, with a 100 gallon fuel tank, from School Bus Sales of Waterloo. The bus will be purchased next summer. The extra large tank allows for extended trips without the inconvenience of refueling on the road.

The board also approved the appointment of Jeanne Gullekson as a new Shareholder Committee member.
