Decorah Police are reporting three more traffic accidents.
During the day on Monday, a car backed out of the parking spaces at the Depot Outlet on Railroad Avenue. A car driven by 16-year-old Matthew Miller of Ossian could not stop in time to avoid hitting the other car. However, Miller and the driver of the other car did not exchange information and both left the scene. Miller later reported the accident to police. The second driver has not contacted police yet.
At 3:38 p.m. Monday 21-year-old William Hollander of Iowa City noticed a hit-and-run driver had damaged his car while it was parked in Baker Village. Hollander reported $2,000 in damages to his car.
And at 5:30 p.m. Monday, 34-year-old Kerri Johanningmeier of Decorah struck a deer while driving on Highway 9. The accident caused $3,000 in damages.
