Winter means cross country skiing in Decorah

Last weekend's eight inch snowfall has been a blessing to local cross country skiers.  The ski trails in Decorah are now open.

decorahnews.com reader Ted Sojka reports the PalisadesPark trail is wonderful on windy days and the other hills around Decorah are covered with enough powder snow to have a wonderful ski.
