NEICAC program will help families in need at Christmastime

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation this holiday season is organizing a Christmas Sharing Program that will help families in need in our community.

The agency is looking for donations of new or barely used toys and practical items such as laundry detergent, soap, toiletries, cleaning supplies, paper towels, personal hygiene items, food, bedding and linens.  Of course, money can be donated to be used for purchasing items.

Drop off sites are located at Decorah Bank & Trust, Bank of the West, Decorah Fareway Food Store, Direct Communications and John Deere – Decorah Implement Company.

Shortly before Christmas all donated items will be distributed by Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation.

The program is sponsored by Decorah Bank & Trust, Bank of the West, Decorah Fareway Food Store, John Deere – Decorah Implement Co., KVIK 104.7 and KDEC 100.5.
