Chamber of Commerce picks first week winner in Christmas contest

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has selected a winner of the first week's "Countdown to Christmas Basket Giveaway."  John Taylor, who shopped at Latham Furniture, will receive a gift basket with items from 44 Decorah businesses. 

Baskets will be given away each Friday for the next four weeks.  For every $50 shoppers spend at the more than 80 participating businesses, shoppers receive an entry for the gift basket, which is valued well over $500 in items, gift certificates and chamber dollars.
