One-car accident causes $5,000 in damages

It's deer season again. 46-year-old Joseph Puffer of Cherry Point, North Carolina was driving on county Highway A-18 near County W-20 on Tuesday when a deer jumped in front of his car. Puffer tried to avoid the deer, but hit it and then skidded into a bridge abutment. Puffer was not injured, but his car had $5,000 in damages.
