"Money Everywhere but in my Pocket"

Are you looking for ways to develop your innovative agricultural business?  Join us for a workshop designed to help you identify which grants might be right for you. This workshop will also discuss ways to plan your project and strengthen your application.
 
 "Money Everywhere but in my Pocket" will be offered on Monday, November 22 at 10 A.M. in the Wilder Auditorium on the Northeast Iowa Community College Campus.  Attendees will learn about loan and grant programs from USDA, FSA, Small Business Administration, Iowa Microloan and Upper Explorerland.

Presenters for the program include: Craig Downs, President and Senior Loan Administrator, Iowa Microloan Program, Carolynn Tonn, Business Development Specialist, Small Business Administration, Cindy Mensen Iowa Association of FSA County Office Employees (IASCOE) President, Farm Service Agency, Norman Brus, Area Specialist, USDA Rural Development and Bill Ziegler, Economic Development Coordinator, Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission.
 
The program will allow each presenter to speak of the programs offered in their institution, followed by a break out session to allow for more personal communications to take place. A second session will follow and be open ended to allow for all questions to be answered. There will be local foods provided to sample as well.
