The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual lighted parade on Friday, December 3 at 6 p.m. Floats in this year's parade will follow the theme "12 Days of Christmas." People of all ages are invited to attend.
Floats representing each one of the 12 days of Christmas will parade down Water St., beginning at Riverside Ave. and ending at Mill St.
The DACC is currently seeking more participants in this year's parade! Floats are needed to represent each one of the 12 days of Christmas, and multiple units per day will be accepted once the 12 spots fill up.
The parade is open to any business or organization who would like to participate. Those who are interested in having a float should contact the DACC to get an entry form. Specific days of Christmas will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for returning an entry form is Friday, Nov. 19.
Participants are encouraged to express their creativity when it comes to designing floats; they can create a literal representation of the 12 Days of Christmas, or they can put a fun and festive twist on it.
The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce seeks to provide resources and programs that will promote member business interests and enhance the Decorah area business community.
