More students enrolled this fall in Decorah

The Decorah School District has received its certified enrollment figures from the Iowa Department of Education--and the statistics again show an increase in the number of students in Decorah.

There were 1,434 students in the Decorah School District this fall--an increase of 17 sutdents from 2009.  The State of Iowa counts "full time equivalent" students, but the actual number of total students in Decorah was 1,733 this fall.  That's an even bigger increase--35 more students than in 2009.
