Two-car accident does $16,000 in damages

An accident on Highway 52 Friday afternoon caused $16,000 in damages.

Police say 43-year-old Theresa Siembieola of Urbandale, Iowa pulled out from Pole Line Road, heading north on Highway 52.  A car driven by 45-year-old Brent Benson of Marshfield, Wisconsin was behind Siembieola.  Benson told police Siembieola turned from the right lane into his lane, striking his car.

Neither driver was injured or ticketed.  Both vehicles suffered major damage.
