North Winn Pumpkin Decorating Contest is success

The North Winneshiek School's annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest attracted nearly 50 unique pumpkins.  The contest was open to all students from preschool through 5th grade.

Holding their winning pumpkins from the are (clockwise) Davon Thompson with "Frosty the Snow-Pumpkin," Zach and Andrew Heine with "Hershey's Kisses," Lexie McCabe with her "Breast Cancer Awareness M&M," and Harley McCabe holding her "Turkey." Other winners included Amelia Dugger's "Kitty," Rye Hawley-Bourcier's "Rapper," Maria Hendrickson's "Smore," Parker Hubka's "Turtle," Kailer McCabe's "Football," Michael McCabe's "Fish," Hailey Nierling's "Nierling Cow, and Stacia Sexton's "Turkey Leg with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy."
