Not all of the votes from Tuesday's election have been counted yet. That's because there are still 91 absentee ballots that were mailed out, but have not yet been returned.
In order to count the ballots must be postmarked as of Tuesday.
However, even if all 91 absentee ballots are returned, they probably will not change the results of Tuesday's election. The closest election had county supervisor Dean Darling losing by 52 votes to Republican Lonnie Pierce. In order for the absentee ballots to change the election, they would almost all have to be votes for Darling and would all have to come from Supervisor District #1. The 91 absentee ballots is a countywide figure.
