13 of 14 precincts in Winneshiek County have had their vote totals reported so far.

In Supervisor District #1, County Board Chairman Dean Darling has lost his re-election bid.  Darling was running as an independent after losing the Republican Party primary to Lonnie Pierce.  Pierce again defeated Darling in the general election.  Unofficial returns show Pierce with 581 votes, Darling with 529 votes and Democrat Mark Kuhn with 509 votes.

In Supervisor District #2, incumbent John Logsdon leads Democrat Warren Palm by almost 400 votes with just one precinct still to report.

The race for County Recorder appears to have been won by Independent Teresa Bockman.  With 13 of 14 precincts reporting, Bockman has 2,826 votes, Republican LaVonne Bjergum has 2,391 votes and Democrat Barbara Ettleson has 2,255 votes.
