Winneshiek County Deputies and Calmar Police arrest two people on drug charges

Two people have been arrested in Calmar on drug charges.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and the Calmar Police Department served a search warrant at 507 West Elm Street, Apartment #9 in Calmar.  They allegedly found illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment.

Amy LaPour of Calmar and Carley Fields on Des Moines were taken into custody.  They each were charged with possession of illegal drugs with intent to deliver; failure to affix a drug tax stamp; and child endangerment.

Both are being held in the Winneshiek County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
