Hesper man arrested on Houston County charges

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a Hesper man on two outstanding Houston County, Minnesota warrants.
44-year-old Steven Current was taken into custody after the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department executed an arrest warrant and search warrant at the home of Marty Dahlberg at 3797 County Road W-40.
Police say Current is wanted in Caledonia on a charge of 1st Degree Tampering with a Witness and another charge of "Making Severity Level IV Threats."
Current is being held without bond in the Winneshiek County Jail, awaiting extradition to Houston County.
