Oneota Winds woodwind quartet performs Saturday at Luther

Oneota Winds, a new Luther College faculty woodwind quintet, will present a faculty ensemble concert Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Noble Recital Hall of the Luther college Jenson-Noble Music Hall.

The group will be performing "Umoja" by Valerie Coleman, the B-flat major quintet by Franz Danzi, "Libertango" by Astor Piazolla and "Le Tombeau de Couperin" by Maurice Ravel.

Performers include Luther faculty members Heather Armstrong, flute, Michael Chesher, clarinet, Carol Hester, flute, Helen James, bassoon, and Rebecca Boehm Shaffer, horn. They will be joined by Luther junior Erik Wadman, percussion.
