Community get well cards for Chris Norton will contain around 800 names

A Decorahget-well card for injured Luther College football player Chris Norton will bepresented to him in Rochesteron Thursday.  A communitywide effort toshow support for Chris produced over 800 names on six posters.  The posters were distributed at Decorah Bank& Trust, Fareway, Oneota Co-op, DecorahLutheran Church,First LutheranChurch, DecorahMethodist Church,St. Benedict's Church, Decorah Covenant Church,Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the LutherCollege Athletic Department offices.

LutherCollege Head Football Coach Mike Durnin will present the posters to Norton andhis family on Thursday.  Chris was injuredin Luther's football game against Central College, but hasrecovered motion in his arms and feeling in his legs and feet.  Family members say his recovery from theinjury is going well and Chris is making better progress than predicted.
