Chris Norton's fans include the Iowa Hawkeye football team

Injured Luther college football player Chris Norton has been getting messages of support from all over--including from Kinnick Stadium.

Norton's parents say Chris received a package from University of Iowa Head Football Coach Kirk Ferentz and the Hawkeye football team with an autographed football, hat, and personal note.  "His face just lit up," reported his parents. 

Chris also has received a phone call from Hawkeye quarterback Ricky Stanzi.

Meanwhile, Luther College Head Football Coach Mike Durnin issued a statement saying, "I would also like to thank all our parents, all our fans, the entire Luther community and all those individuals and families who have supported Chris Norton, his family and the Norse Football Program over the past week."
