Alpha Sigma sorority pie sale to benefit cancer patient Sheena Suckow

Posted: Thu, Oct 21, 2010 7:07 PM

The Alpha Sigma sorority has begun its annual Homemade Pie Sale.  Funds raised will help pay the medical expenses for Sheena Suckow, the 23 year old daughter of Becky & Brian Peterson. She was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, a cancer of the white blood cells.  It is Alpha Sigma's goal to assist Sheena and her family and contribute this year's proceeds to defer some of the costs and expenses of the long treatment program.

Prices are $6 for pumpkin and $8 for pecan. To place a pie order, contact Nikki at (563) 380-2783 or Laurie at (563) 379-6206.

Alpha Sigma also will be giving away three turkey dinner grocery prizes (donated by Quillins of Decorah). You will automatically be entered into the turkey dinner drawing with the purchase of a pie!  Prize winners will be notified the week of November 15, 2010. Pie orders may be picked up at the Decorah Lutheran Church basement on November 24th, noon – 6pm.
