Middle Calmar Road reopens to traffic

The Trout Run Trail project has shifted into a different phase.

Crews had been working to install a culvert underneath Middle Calmar Road that would funnel traffic from the bike trail underneath the road.  The Winneshiek County Engineer's Office has announced that that portion of the project has been completed and Middle Calmar Road has been reopened to traffic.

The next phase of the bike trail project calls for a culvert to be installed underneath Trout Run Road, to allow bikers and hikers passage underneath the road.
