Absentee balloting continuing in Winneshiek County

The Winneshiek County Auditor's Office continues to handle absentee balloting.  The office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  It will also be open Saturday, October 23rd from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 30th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. 

Saturday, October 23rd is the pre-registration deadline.  After that day new voters who are not yet registered in Winneshiek County will be required to show proof of ID and residency before voting.
