Milkhouse Creamery now open on Water Street

The Milkhouse Creamery is now open at 200 West Water Street. The store features all soy and beeswax candles, as well as recycled functional art (such as cheese trays made from recycled wine bottles), and pottery offerings.

The owners are Janet and Eric Sparrow from St. Ansgar. They produce the candles at a plant in Osage.  The store name reflects the owner's dairy farm background as well as the milk bottle, butter jars, and crock containers that hold the candles. A sister-in-law, Tonya Sparrow, manages the store.
