Decorah business has won the statewide

A Decorah business has apparently won a $1,000 grant from the My Entre.net program at the University of Northern Iowa.

The Clay Studio is the apparent top vote getter in the "Dream Big, Grow Here" contest conducted on-line from September 15th through the 30th.  The top vote getter receives the $1,000 grant.

The Clay Studio received over 1,200 votes for their proposal for help in paying off two new electric pottery wheels and help to save for the business' next addition, a community Japanese style garden in its  courtyard below the building (next to Dry Run Creek).
