Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program applications available

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) Family Service Offices will start taking applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program beginning on Friday, October 1st, for individuals that are age 60 and older or individuals that have a disability. Individuals under age 60 cannot apply until November 1st.  NEICAC Family Service Offices are open from 8 AM to Noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  NEW THIS YEAR – official social security cards must be provided for ALL members of the household as a required part of the application.
