Fall colors are starting to arrive

The state of Iowa Forest Nursery says fall color changes are starting to happen in Northeast Iowa.

The latest fall color report says maples are turning yellow and orange.  The bluffs along the Mississippi River are yellow, gold, brown and orange, but mostly still green.

The State Forest Nursery estimates the week of October 10th will be the peak of fall colors in Northeast Iowa.
