Northeast Iowa's first Honor Tour of World War II veterans has returned to Decorah.
18 veterans, 18 companions and eight support staff members spent five day traveling to Washington, D.C. from Monday through Friday. The Veterans visited the World War II Memorial, the Korean and Vietnam War memorials, the WWII Memorial, the Lincoln, FDR and Jefferson memorials, the Capitol, the White House and Arlington National Cemetery.
The group arrived back in Northeast Iowa Friday evening around 6:30.
