Christian rock bank Relient K is coming to Luther College

The Contemporary Christian Music band "Relient K" will perform at Luther College at 8:30 p.m. Friday, October 29th.

It will be the first concert back in U.S. for the band after a lengthy tour of Australia & New Zealand.

Relient K was formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio by Matt Thiessen, Brian Pittman, and Matt Hoopes during the band's junior year in high school.

The band is named after a Plymouth Reliant K that guitarist Matt Hoopes drove.  The spelling was intentionally altered to avoid trademark infringement over the Plymouth Reliant K name.
