City of Decorah will again get help from University of Iowa graduate school students

A group of second-year University of Iowa graduate students will be coming to Decorah in the future to work on the city's Comprehensive Plan.  Decorah has been selected as one of the communities to receive the free assistance.  The students will review the policy statements proposed for the updated City of Decorah Comprehensive Plan, especially for how those statements follow "Smart Planning Principles."

It will be the second time a group of U of I graduate students have worked with the City of Decorah.  A previous group worked on questions of sustainability and green practices.
