The Decorah Public Library now has copies available of Rick Riordan's "The Lightning Thief." The book will be discussed at the library at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14th, in the lower level public meeting room at Decorah Public Library.
the book is Riordan's imagining of questions like "What if the gods of Olympus were alive in the 21st Century?" What if they still fell in love with mortals and had children who might become great heroes — like Theseus, Jason and Hercules?" "What if you were one of those children?"
The Alfheim Fantasy Book Group meets at Decorah Public Library at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. For more information, call 382-3717.
