New leadership for Decorah School Board

Decorah School Board Vice President Melanie Tietz is now Decorah School Board President Melanie Tietz.  She was elected to the position Monday night, while school board member Ron Fadness becomes the new Vice President.

Former School Board President Mona Nelson, who had held the job since 2002, did not seek re-election, since she recently became the head of the Department of Economics and Business at Luther College, one of the largest departments on campus.
