These kids ignored the rule "Don't play with your food!"

A lot of parents have told their kids, "Don't play with your food!"  But that wasn't the case for two dozen kids and adults at ArtHaus--playing with food was the focus.

ArtHaus and the Oneota Food Co-op joined together Saturday for an "Edible Sculpture Contest."  Kids were given vegetables and other food and asked to make works of art.  

When it was done, photos were taken of the finished sculptures.  Those pictures will be up for display at the Oneota Co-op, with judging beginning this Friday.  Public judging will go through Sunday, October 10th.  The winner will be announced on Monday, October 11th.

Photos will also be available online, with a link at www.oneotacoop.com.  It will also be possible to vote via e-mail by sending a message to vote@oneotacoop.com.
