Sheriff's deputies recover stolen vehicle

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department has recovered a stolen vehicle.  Sheriff's deputies received a complaint Saturday of an abandoned vehicle located on private property in Glenwood Township Section 16.  They investigated the complaint--and discovered a vehicle that had been stolen from Wilken Auto Salvage near Waukon.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident, including anyone who remembers seeing any unusual activity in Glenwood Township, to contact the Sheriff's Department at (563) 382-4268.
