Trout Run Trail culvert work is continuing

Work continues on a culvert that will take Trout Run Trail traffic under the Middle Calmar Road when the culvert is installed.

However, when the culvert is completed, the construction work will begin on a Trout Run Trail culvert--this one getting built nearby under Trout Run Road.  That means a traffic detour will still be in effect--along Middle Calmar Road traffic will return to normal.

City Engineer Lindsay Erdman says it's still too early to tell whether any paving will be done in this segment of the bike trail this fall, or whether the work will have to be done early next spring.
