City of Decorah recognized for its workers safety program

The Iowa Municipal Workers Compensation Association is honoring Decorah for its worker safety program.  The group presented the city with an award Monday night in recognition of its efforts to reduce workers compensation claims.

City Clerk Wanda Hemesath, one of the members of the city's Safety Committee, told IMWCA officials, "all departments have worked very hard on this project."
