Depot Outlet has donated $50,000 to local organizations

The Board of Directors of The Depot Outlet has approved three more donations to local organizations.  RSVP will receive $1,300 for its programming, while St. Aloysius Church and the Decorah Friends Church will each receive $1,000.

The donations bring the total of donations by the Depot Outlet to $50,000, with 40 organizations receiving money.  The Decorah Area Free Clinic is the biggest recipient, with $5,000 helping to pay the clinic's operational expenses.

Depot Outlet officials say people who donate items to the Depot help the Depot Outlet to provide financial support to many organizations which are having a hard time making ends meet.
