Marco announces purchase of Minnesota company

A Minnesota company with offices in 13 communities, including Decorah, is expanding further.

Marco, Inc. of St. Cloud, Minnesota has announced the purchase of the copier business done by Davis Typewriter Co. Inc. and Ed Davis Business Machines.  Davis Typewriter Co. Inc. has locations in Worthington and Marshall, and Ed Davis Business Machines is located in Willmar.

The two companies will continue to operate and provide their other office supply, furniture, and related office products at their current locations. The employees that support their copier business have been hired by Marco.

Over the past year, Marco has expanded into new markets including Decorah in Iowa, Rochester and Thief River Falls in Minnesota, and Sioux Falls in South Dakota.  Marco has 350 employees at its 13 locations throughout the Upper Midwest.
